[Tpc-info] Fwd: TPC-C RTE spec

Hi TPC org,

I have looked at some of the published TPC-C results and have a question. I
hope you can help me in this regard.

I noticed some of the vendors have implemented their own benchmark tool
(aka remote terminal emulator).  Is this a requirement of the audit
process?  HammerDB has been very popular in database benchmarking
recently.  My own study tells me HammerDB TPROC-C is very close to RTE
specification.  Only a couple of changes need to be made to fulfill the
TPC-C spec.

Can a modified version of HammerDB be used as the RTE and submitted for
review as an official TPC-C result?
